Ice Magic

We did a magic trick - lifting ice with string!

 

How we did it!

 

1.       Fill the glass to the top with water.

2.     Cut a piece of string around 20 centimetres long.

3.      Place an ice cube in the water. It will float.

4.     Lay the string across the ice cube and glass.

5.     Cover ice cube and string with a layer of salt.

6.     Leave for one minute.

7.      Carefully pick up the ends of the string.
