EVERY day we read, write and do number work.

We have ICT in the computer suite.
We use lots of different programmes for literacy and numeracy.  During September and October we drew pictures of our dream houses and began to learn how to type simple sentences about oursleves.

We go to the Library to pick a new book.
We enjoy library time with Mrs Elliot when we listen to stories and talk about books we have read.  We need to bring our books back on Thursday.

In the morning we have Spanish with Jessica Douglas.
Jessica comes each Wednesday morning and we learn lots of Spanish words and phrases through songs, games and activities.

In the afternoon we have PE.

 We have lots to bring in to school...this is the last day for our homework, our reading packs and our library books!
We get house points for bringing things back to school on time!

We have a whole school assembly.
Usually we have a special speaker in to talk to us and to teach us.  This may a minister from a local church or a youth worker. 
We sing happy birthday to anyone in school who has had a birthday.
We find out which House has won the House cup!  The class with the most house points get 5 minutes extra play time at break!

We have our Friday spellings and tables test. 
We get house points and chart stickers if we get these ALL right. 

We usually have Art on a Friday. 

We get our Homework pack on Friday - this has our homework sheets, our guided readers and our independent readers.  We can do our homework ANY night and bring it in ANY morning...so long as it is back for Thursday!
