This week in class we have been listening to the story of "The Three Billy Goats Gruff". We were learning how to read a story putting expression into our voice. Miss Tipping read the story using different voices for each of the characters. The littlest billy goat had a quiet voice, the middle billy goat had a normal voice, the biggest billy goat had a loud voice and the troll had a deep, scary voice. We then had a chance to act out the story and have a go at making the voices ourselves. You can have a look at the masks we used. Then we all did some writing about the story. We used a word bank and our sounds to help us. It was hard work and we had to use our thinking skills 💭. Miss Tipping and Mrs McCluskey were so happy and proud of our work! 😀
