Spanish

Every Wednesday Jessica comes to P2 to teach us Spanish. She teaches us songs and games to help us learn our Spanish words. Last week Jessica was telling us about how people in Spain celebrate the New Year by eating 12 grapes when the clock strikes 12 on New Year's Eve. We were learning the Spanish names for different fruit. Test us at home to see if we can remember them!

This week in Spanish we were learning the names of the numbers to 10. Jessica taught us some fun actions for each number and we played a game of "Guess the Number". It was great fun!

This week we were learning the Spanish words for the parts of our face. Jessica taught us the names for eyes, ears, nose and mouth. She told us the story of Little Red Riding Hood and the big bad wolf. She then let us act out the story. We also labelled the parts of a face in Spanish and coloured it in. It was fun - some people made alien faces and others made their face look like someone they know.
