Toasting Marshmallows

We were learning about how to STAY SAFE when around fires.

 

We went outside and made our very own CAMP FIRE

and toasted marhmallows

 

YUMMY!!

 

We talked about FIRE SAFETY and even brought our very own FIRE EXTINGUISHER along (just in case!)  

We started by rolling up newspaper and added a fire lighter......we then used a match to light the paper.....next we added twigs - which we collected - and watched the fire get very hot!  

 

Once all of the flaes were away we started

TOASTING our MARSHMALLOWS

 

 

We had to be VERY CAREFUL!
