💰We asked for minimum (voluntary) donation of £1 so that families could help us in supporting the work of this very important charity - one close to many of our hearts. ❤️

As an integrated school we marked the death of Queen Elizabeth II with the children. We had an assembly to celebrate and reflect on the many contributions she made both near to home and across the planet, as a clear example to us all on how to serve others for over 70 years.
It is with the deepest and most profound sadness that we have learned of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Her extraordinary life and dedication to service over the past 70 years has been an inspiration to us all.
We hold the King and members of the Royal Family in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time, as they mourn the loss of their mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
As a school, we wish to send our condolences and give thanks for her long and wonderful life of service to so many.
Our school Choir who have sung at different community functions this year were invited to sing at the Island Civic Centre on Thursday 10th March at the Mayor's request to celebrate 40 years of Integrated Education in N.Ireland.
THEY WERE SUPERB. Their uniform, their walking on, their walking off, pronunication, tightness, enthusism was second to none.
Thank you to all parents who got them there and collected.
"Love for Life" came into school to talk to the P7 boys and girls separately about their personal physical development and expected changes.
This is a great organisation and handles these issues very wisely and professionally.
All the children enjoyed Catherine Bennett sharing about Amazon creatures. The children saw, touched, heard and learnt about them. A great morning. Our thanks to catherine!
🌳The planting of a canopy tree took place on Monday the 11th of October at 9.30am.
Both pupils and staff attended this memorable event in history.🌳
🌟 Lord Lieutenant of Antrim, David McCorkle, Lady Mary Peters and the Mayor of Lisburn were our special guests. 🌟
The British Legion in Lisburn celebrated its’ Centenary this year. 🌺
To help with the celebrations they asked if pupils at local primary schools would be willing to create a picture/painting/drawing or collage in one of the following areas:

🌟A building in Lisburn (over 100 years old)
“Submitted work” was displayed in the Lisburn Museum for families to view and all children were invited to a street party in Sackville Street on Saturday 2nd October. 🎉

👏 WELL DONE to Alise Lazdina in P7 from our school who won 2nd prize for her PURPLE POPPY contribution.
📚 We won the overall school prize in the Art competition - £200 book vouchers. 📚

🎉September 2021 marks the
40th Anniversary of Integrated Education.🎉
Across 21/22 there will be a series of events to celebrate and share the unique story of #IntegratedEducation.
To kick things off, NI Council for Integrated Education asked Integrated schools to help them launch #40yearsIntegrated by making the number '40' in creative ways. 🎨
